Sonar X3 Aud.INI LatencyMsec

After having a latency issue that I could not adjust within the normal
adjustment range, a friend suggested I play with the LatencyMsec setting
in my AUD.INI file. Reducing this from 90 to 25 seems to have worked
for me.

However it bothers me that I have not been able to find any real
documentation for that parameter. It seems there a lot of parameters in
the AUD.INI file for which documentation is not published.

Anyone have any further information on the LatencyMsec parameter?

Right now I am using the built in laptop sound chip interface, stereo,
with my Soundcraft EFX8 mixer for some not critical recording.
(Primarily music practice tracks) OS is Win 8 64, using WASPI.

Thanks

Danielle

Welcome!

We're always happy to see a new smile, but just so you know, there are
very few people here that continue to use Sonar.

Cakewalk abandoned these news groups years ago, opting for the forum
approach to community support.

Glad to hear you got things working, but not surprised to hear it was
without help from Cakewalk.
